Interesting outings regarding fungi : bell morels - Verpa conica. More...

In this   post, I told you about the different strategies to find morels.

It was with a grove of hawthorn, blackthorn and of an old apple tree abandoned.

As a reminder, here is a picture of the grove that I showed you.

Instead of morels, I was lucky to find a new spot of bell morels - Verpa conica.

If you do not know this fungus, I show you a short video.

This is a rather rare fungus. Although edible, it remains a poor edible which is best left in place and protect. Especially since it goes well with the morels and this is an excellent indicator of potential place!
