In this post, I told you about the different strategies to find morels.
It was with a grove of hawthorn, blackthorn and of an old apple tree abandoned.
As a reminder, here is a picture of the grove that I showed you.
Instead of morels, I was lucky to find a new spot of bell morels - Verpa conica.
If you do not know this fungus, I show you a short video.
This is a rather rare fungus. Although edible, it remains a poor edible which is best left in place and protect. Especially since it goes well with the morels and this is an excellent indicator of potential place!
